Hemp, Inc. Set to Grow Up to 25,000 Acres of Industrial Hemp This Year

Hemp, Inc. (OTC PINK: HEMP), a global leader in the industrial hemp industry with the largest hemp mill in the western hemisphere, announced today that the Company is set to grow up to 25,000 acres of industrial hemp this year thus making North Carolina the “Epicenter of the Industrial Hemp Industry”. According to Hemp, Inc. representatives, the 25,000 acres, to be grown, are more than what the entire country grew last year alone. The large amount of acreage is expected to improve farmer profitability as well as boost the overall economy by opening up new revenue streams in the marketplace for buyers and farmers seeking higher quality products.

Bruce Perlowin, CEO of Hemp, Inc. (OTC: HEMP) said, “North Carolina is quickly becoming the ‘Epicenter of the Industrial Hemp Industry’ with companies across the state claiming their stake in the hemp and cannabis industries and vast educational opportunities. We’re also seeing more companies focus on specific niches. For example, Founder’s Hemp, a North Carolina-based company has launched a line of beauty products aimed at consumers of color. North Carolina is also home to the only Hemp University that helps attendees add viable and profitable income streams by maximizing their per-acre crop revenue.”

Due to the overwhelming success of Hemp, Inc.’s Hemp University “Hemp University Master Grow Team” a cultivation consulting division has been established to further the University’s mission to help landowners and farmers incorporate hemp into their crop rotation. Hemp University’s consulting division, “Hemp University Grow”, focuses on the development of grow room facilities, greenhouses, outdoor hemp farming and cannabidiol (CBD) extraction operations. Known as the Mastery Grow Team, this select group of hemp growers receives the advantage of numerous operational synergies and resource sharing. Hemp University’s expert staff help prevents growers from costly mistakes and imbalances that can reduce yield, quality, and consistency. The 7th educational symposium (Growing Hemp for Profit) will be held on March 10, 2018.

To buy tickets for Hemp University’s March 10th “Growing Hemp for Profit” event and to learn more about the line-up of Master Growers and farmers, coaches, and trainers who will be facilitating, visit here. The Hemp University is also on Facebook. Click here to visit The Hemp University on Facebook. The Hemp University is also offering a $150 early bird discount.

In the product realm, North Carolina-based Founder’s Hemp is expected to do quite well with their niche market. Their newly launched line, Hemp Excellence, consists of body lotions, lip balms and CBD capsules that went on sale last month at two beauty shops, which cater to women of color, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. According to an article published by the Marijuana Business Daily, “the maker of the line, Founder’s Hemp of Asheboro, North Carolina, is in talks to expand Hemp Excellence distribution to South Africa, Ghana, Bolivia and other countries.” With a huge untapped market, controlling shareholder, Bob Crumley, believes the Hemp Excellence brand could be a seven-figure brand within 12 to 15 months.

“The Hemp Excellence line contains only one product that contains cannabinoids, the CBD capsules. The other Hemp Excellence products are made from hemp seed oil, in part to appeal to customers who may be hesitant to try cannabinoids. Other CBD producers said the market potential for personal-care products aimed at women of color is huge but those producers have been slow to market themselves as ethnic products because they don’t want to be seen as stereotyping people.” To read the full article on Hemp Excellence, click here.

Founder’s Hemp is a vertically integrated company that works with Innovative Aggregated farmers to farm the product, manufacture and process the product, package the product and sell the product in their retail store (and wholesale to other retailers), the Everything Hemp Store, located in North Carolina. Founder’s Hemp sells products to physicians, doctors, psychiatrists, chiropractors, physical therapists, massage therapists, and health food stores. Some of their vendors come from all across the state and include Carolina Chiropractic Plus in Shelby; Samson & The Lion Natural Foods, in Asheboro; The Hemp Farmacy in Wilmington; and Stroud Chiropractic Clinic in Archdale. Founder’s Hemp also has a food scientist from North Carolina State University.

The Hemp Farmacy, in particular, is the first dispensary in the state of North Carolina that is providing legal access to hemp dietary supplements and hemp-based products both in-store and online. Their extensive line of US produced and legally grown products are researched, reviewed, and tested by knowledgeable staff before being sold. The Hemp Farmacy chain is part of Hempleton’s network of local managed farms and industry leaders. North Carolina is home to the chain of “farmacies”. According to Justin Hamilton, owner and founder of The Hemp Farmacy, there are currently four operating. The fifth one opens next month. He has six appointments this week to potentially open ten more “farmacies” this spring and summer. If anyone is interested in opening a Hemp Farmacy, visit www.hempfarmacy.org.

The Hemp Farmacy chain is the only one of its kind in America and they are all located in North Carolina, thus further making North Carolina the Epicenter of the Industrial Hemp Industry.

“I believe Founder’s Hemp, The Hemp Farmacy, as well as many other North Carolina-based companies, will do very well in the hemp and cannabis space. Companies located in the ‘Epicenter of the Industrial Hemp Industry’ have a huge competitive advantage in the marketplace because their supply, processing facilities, and retail locations are in their own backyard. Having two industrial hemp processing facilities in the state solidifies it as ‘The Epicenter of the Industrial Hemp’ Industry in the United States. The infrastructure is in place to service the growing needs of the industry,” said Perlowin.

Hemp, Inc.’s 85,000 square foot industrial hemp multi-purpose processing facility is also home to a NuAxon Tech CO2 Supercritical Extractor that the company launched last year as part of its strategic business model. Purchased from NuAxon BioScience, the NuAxon Tech CO2 Supercritical Extractor processes raw hemp into CBD extracts and oil. Hemp, Inc. is in the process of creating an extensive Extractor Infrastructure Network in its facility by partnering with other public companies and large farming co-ops. With a prominent trend of infusing CBDs in various products such as health and beauty products, this segment of the market is expected to reach upwards of $1 billion by the year 2020. Hemp, Inc. will be releasing a series of press releases, literally any day now, to announce their strategic partners who will be participating in building out the extraction infrastructure.
“As a socially- and environmentally-conscious Company, we have been forming strategic partnerships that encourage farmers, veterans, and others to join and receive benefit from the hemp movement nationwide,” said Perlowin.

As Hemp, Inc. provides consulting services in the hemp-CBD market, specifically in the areas of growing high-quality organically-grown CBD rich hemp, harvesting, extracting, and marketing, executives say they will also build Veteran Village Kins Communities across the country. “Our ‘Veteran Village Kins Communities’ is where we will not only grow some of our Hemp, it is a full-blown holistic solution to the multifaceted veteran problems in the USA. Our prototype model is in Arizona about 20 miles north of Kingman and 90 miles from Las Vegas, NV. It’s our way of saying, ‘Thank You’ to our Veterans.”

Hemp, Inc. Announces Strategic Hemp Growing Partner “Veteran Village Kins Community Arizona, Inc.” Completes Final Site Plan Blueprints
Hemp, Inc. has previously announced that its strategic growing partner, “Veteran Village Kins Community Arizona, Inc.,” has completed its final site plan blueprints for its 500-acre site in Golden Valley, Arizona (20 miles north of Kingman, AZ and 90 minutes from Las Vegas, NV). The site plan was submitted to the Mohave County Building Department for final review. The Company is also in the final stages of completing the necessary infrastructure to support an off-grid, renewable, energy system. The remainder of the solar equipment is expected to arrive in the next few days, completing the site’s solar power operation.

Dwight Jory, the Project Manager for the “Veteran Village Kins Community Arizona, Inc.,” said, “We are very happy with the progress. Our Kins Community is really beginning to come together.” In anticipation of planting to begin during the spring, 300 acres have been fenced, 16 overnight trailer park sites are under construction, and six 40×40-ft organic vegetable gardens are ready for seasonal planting, according to Jory. As for the 6 geodesic domes mentioned in an earlier press release, 1 is structurally complete with only the electrical and plumbing to be completed. The rest are on site awaiting final site plan approval. “We are now accepting volunteers who have expressed an interest in helping to build the first Kins Community for our veterans,” said Jory. Those interested in making the first hemp growing CBD-producing “Veteran Village Kins Community” become a reality should contact Ms. Sandra Williams via email (swilliams@hempinc.com).
One thousand trees, on 36 of the 500-acres, have also been planted, with an additional 1,000 trees on order. The “Veteran Village Kins Community” site plan also includes a 100,000-square foot GMP compliant, central processing plant, CBD testing laboratory, and various health and wellness centers to support veterans who may have psychological, emotional or health issues.

Hemp, Inc. and “Veteran Village Kins Community Arizona, Inc.” began development on the “Veteran-Village Kins Community in Arizona” approximately 5-6 years ago. Kins Communities are designed to grow hemp and produce cannabidiol (CBD) products to benefit veterans and to generate revenue for Hemp, Inc., the Veteran Village, and the individuals living on the land. Each 2.5-acre lot is designed to be self-sustainable, with 1 acre allocated to grow hemp and other areas for an organic garden, natural bee-hives, a living fence, a pond, a family tree and other elements that make up a “Kins Domain.”

“As Hemp, Inc. positions itself on the forefront of America’s industrial hemp revolution, we see our partnership with ‘Veteran Village Kins Community Arizona, Inc.’ being paramount in supporting the small family farm movement that we are confident will reshape the American landscape,” said Perlowin. “As we work toward getting our eco-village up and running in Arizona, we are also aggressively scouting strategic locations in other states including North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Tennessee and West Virginia. Giving veterans and other Americans a place to learn new skills and take part in this multi-billion-dollar hemp CBD market is very exciting. It’s a big part of our mission to give back.”
