This is the latest update on Industrial Hemp Manufacturing plant in North Carolina. Bruce Perlowin, CEO of Hemp, Inc. was on site for a week to check out the progress of the decortication plant and we finally have new pictures and updates. The plant will be ready for industrial hemp manufacturing this year.
The team at the Industrial Hemp Manufacturing plant has been working diligently despite weather setbacks this winter that delayed some things. But now things are moving forward again. We have poured the foundation for the silo and the installation is underway. This will allow us to store the processed fiber so we can manufacture our industrial hemp products.
The complex electrical system is almost complete and the compressors that send air to the different areas of the decortication line are in place. Things are moving forward, so we wanted to show you pictures of the progress at our industrial hemp manufacturing plant.
You can watch our latest industrial hemp manufacturing video update here…
Here are the pictures from the industrial hemp manufacturing plant…
This is the electrical switch on the outside of the plant that can shut it down in case of any emergency.
Here you can see the entire electrical area, where all the wiring is connected to the brains of the Temafa decortication line.
Electrical Wiring from Switch Gear to the Temafa Control Panel’s
All the electrical wiring being run through conduits and connected to the control panels that run the plant. It is a huge job with hundreds if not thousands of feet of electrical wiring.
Wiring from Switch Gear to Sub Control Panel
All the wiring run through conduits to ensure safety of all electrical wiring.
Temafa Control Center - The Brains of the Operation
This is the huge bank of control panels, which make up the brains of the entire plant. From here everything in the plant is connected to electricity and controled.
This is where it starts… The bail opener machine is designed to open complete bales of natural or manmade fibers. The degree of opening and the production capacity can be adjusted to suit individual requirements. The machine is fed by a feed table and/or bucket wheel condenser and can also be used as hopper feeder.
This is part of the bast fiber processing machinery. It continues to break down and refine the fiber to get it ready for further processing. The feeders move it to the next step of the decortication line of machinery.
This is condenser is just one of the components needed to further process the hemp and kenaf fibers. Each piece of equipment is in it’s position within the decortication line.
The part of the Temafa line crunches the long base fibers so they can be sent to final processes before being baled into the final product.
Drum Separator (Duvex)
This is where the cleaning takes place to separate and remove the impurities such as dust and core fibers (or short fibers.
